OKCupid CEO Sam Yagan gave a presentation at the Digiday Data Marketing Summit. This is a fantastic slide deck, required reading for the entire dating industry. Complete with all sorts of juicy stats on member demographics, messaging trends and even some dating tips. Oh how I wish dating sites would de-silo their findings and share like this. This is part of the reason why OKC is a $90 million company. Can you imagine how their data acquisition platform is going to transform Match and the rest of the IAC empire? Don’t tell me you thought Match bought OKC just for the dating site revenue?
