Trufina, RelyID, HonestyOnline and Tru.ly are just a few of the many services that have launched in the last five years with the hopes of offering background checks and identity verification services for the online dating industry. The actual list is more than 25 companies, many of which never achieved enough marketshare to matter.
IntegrityID, the latest company to offer safety services to online daters, is the brainchild of former Motorola executive and Seattle entrepreneur, Joseph A. O’Neill.
IntegrityID provides a unique service to individuals via a membership association for people who meet the qualification criteria, and a verification service free to anyone who wishes to validate that a person is a current IntegrityID member.
