I saw a job opening at eHarmony on LinkedIn.
Senior Product Manager: The Senior Product Manager will be an integral team member of a new eHarmony service. Qualified candidates MUST have product/service experience at a major, consumer-facing technology company. This role is responsible for increasing customer registrations, sales conversion and customer satisfaction. Additionally, this person will have dedicated time to study forward-looking consumer technologies and recommend their applicability to our customer base.
Full job description. eHarmony, I have a fantastic candidate for this position.
As I was perusing LinkedIn, I saw a few people from Stir, Match.com’s latest mutation of Down To Earth, a site they launched to compete with, well I don’t even remember who they were originally going after, Plentyoffish or OKCupid or Going.com?
Well it turns out that Stir is now Singlesnet. I’m not sure when the changeover took place, anyone know? Singlesnet supposedly has 8 million members. I assume that is in addition to Match’s self-reported 20 million. Plus however many million at People Media and several million at OKCupid. Thats a lot of single people in the Match empire.
