Today’s Business Insider Chart of the Day features SNAP Interactive, the company responsible for the largest Facebook dating application, Are You Interested.
SNAP is a penny stock that is up 1,000% in the last 30 days.
Last week I was on Bloomberg TV talking about Facebook Dating applications, specifically Are You Interested.
It turns out that users *will* pay a subscription fee to date on Facebook.
Zoosk has been quiet lately, surprising that they haven’t countered all of of coverage SNAP is getting.
In terms of who’s the biggest, it gets complicated when some companies Facebook app and destination sites are covered by Comscore rankings and others are not. Plus the face that the Facebook Daily and Monthly Active Users numbers remain suspect.
What really matters is that dating sites based on Facebook are now a reality and there is real money to be made and matches to meet. It may not be the quality of Match or eHarmony, but we’re getting there.
Take it from Business Insider, if you want to roll the dice, and you want to play a Facebook company on the public markets, here’s your chance.
