I have been remiss at showing the love to the unofficial eHarmony blog. If you read this blog you should be reading that as well, they do the best job at covering eHarmony and its not a spammy affiliate marketing site, which is a huge bonus for readers.
They say:
Do you remember eHarmony China? eHarmony told the press numerous times from 2006 to 2007 that they’re studying love and relationships in the Chinese market. So how did they studies go? Whatever happened to eHarmony China? Did they publish anything? What their studies probably taught them is that China will eat them alive, or that there’s no way in hell they’ll succeed in the Middle Kingdom, as a business, as a product or both!
They go on to say that the US market for matchmaking services plateaued several years ago and that the company has run out of English markets to conquer. Same could be said for Match.
Hiring eHarmony Japan appears to be happening at a rapid pace. Will the Japanese warm up to 29 dimensions of compatibility? Its sure going to be interesting watching their growth.
Anyone with .jp comscore stats for dating?
