Today I’m going to ask for your help. Everyone knows that a great photo is the most important part of an online dating profile. Then why are dating sites not jumping at the opportunity to give members the tools and services they need to succeed?

I’m asking because I’m working with Datingheadshots, which is looking to parter with dating sites. I don’t promote clients often enough here, but in this case, I just can’t keep my mouth shut any longer.

I’m trying to get a better understanding of what it’s going to take to get dating sites excited about doing something good for their members and making some money in the process.

Maybe dating sites aren’t clear about the value of helping out members. Do they have problems with the pricing, revenue share split, integration issues, or something else?

I’ve worked hard with DatingHeadshots and HonestyOnline to bundle their services together. As an added benefit, we’ve added the ability to book time with dating coaches as well.

I would think that buying a photo shoot, receiving a verified photo, an identity verification credential and an hour or two of coaching all at once would be something dating sites would be chomping at the bit to offer members. This offer could be a VIP-level service, part of a freemium upsell or email offer to inactive members.

Why are dating sites dragging their feet about this? Please clue me in with a comment, than you!
