After seven years of working out of my home, I’ve finally moved into a real office. Here’s the view from my window. I’m loving the view of Boston harbor and the Boston skyline. The best part is that it’s a seven minute walk from my house.
Of course the day I move in, there is a real fire next door, and then a planned fire-alarm test. As someone who has already had a house burn down, this was not a great way to start the day.
However, things quickly got better. Notice the conference room table. Now I hear you saying to yourself, “Dave, why are you showing us a photo of your conference room table?” Well, dear reader, I am showing you said conference room table because that is the original Matchmaker.com conference table from back when it was run by some hard-partying swingers before Lycos picked it up. Let’s just say that the table was rarely used for meetings. Not only do I work in a historical Navy Yard building, but my conference room table has some online dating history of its own.
