Today’s guest post is by Chris Brickler, the director of the Emmy-nominated “How Will We Love?

So I have been quite a journey over the past five years. Both my professional and personal lives sorted of collided in the form of the first major documentary in America exploring love, dating, relationships, and the changing landscape of commitment – “How Will We Love?”. It all started with a video interview with my grandparents from Indiana. They have been married for over 68 years… Beautiful people. What they said was so inspirational, especially to a hopeful romantic like myself. I then went on to interview most of the top experts in the world and over 500 everyday people. Really trying to understand relationships better. Is a life-long partnership possible in such an ADD, me-generation? How is dating changing? Where is marriage heading? How can we as a generation become more conscious about love and, most importantly, our expectations around relationships? How has “women’s independence” affected our society? Is monogamy part of human nature? How can we deal with conflict in more loving ways?

As a former telecom turned creative, I have such a passion coming up with innovative ways to blend technology and entertainment. Our project was nominated for an Emmy for our webisodic program on MySpace – one of the first broadband projects the Academy ever considered. Along the way we have also produced 10 TV episodes for CurrentTV and over 30 webisodes for Love @AOL exploring single life in America. Most recently, we did a deal strategic content deal with YouTube and “How Will We Love?” became one of the first feature-length, independent films to be streamed world-wide in HD and translated in over 100 languages.

It seems that so many people now flock to the net to find love. And with the phenomenal growth of online dating along with greatly improved video streaming, “How Will We Love?” seems perfectly aligned. We have built the largest relationship-based video library in the world with over 300 hours of footage featuring so many important experts. Now, we are actively looking at ways to exclusively partner with online communities in various parts of the world to offer a very unique and value-added video experience.
