Social dating/content sharing site Psismic is shutting down.
Well it’s been a wonderful year for us running this world of Psismic. We’d like to thank each and every one of your for joining us in this experience. Psismic started as “The Psismic Experience Club” operating locally in beautiful Vancouver, BC Canada. Iteration 2 was our current “Psismic: Online Dating Should Be Fun”. We’re now hard at work on Iteration 3… to be launched in early 2010.
Psismic.com will be accessible until March 31, 2009. Please make sure to contact anyone you have met to attempt to continue your relationship through other channels. If you are an active Pro member of the Psismic service, your most recent membership payment will be refunded to you in full.
I like the idea of using content embedded in profile pages to share more about yourself than the usual profile paragraph and photos. Too bad its going away.
