I am fortunate to be working with Sobayli, a great startup in NYC working on a pattern recognition and proprietary image based solutions for preventing user generated liability. Sobayli is able to block multiple classes of inappropriate content in real time, and they have been finding a lot of interest in the social media and online dating markets for their product by providing customers with the ability to audit all their uploaded image content for roughly the price of user generated auditing. They understand the space, and are able to meet the individual needs of clients through an a la carte service offering. The categories they address are:

B) Profile misrepresentation including:
– celebrity photo use

Sobayli is a platform based web service which integrates with existing Content Management Systems. The service is highly trainable to address client specific issues, and is scalable to match client growth. Sobayli seeks to manage content liability generated by users, and significantly reduce upfront and ongoing costs of content auditing. They find that while user based content auditing may seem effective, the nature of that system means that there is no comparative baseline. Additionally, Sobayli finds that even if current content auditing is user based, that their product is generally less expensive than the cost of monitoring what is flagged by those users. Their system gives you the valuable security of auditing every image, every time, and in a cost effective and simple to integrate package.
