Attended the virtual conference, had several new business meetings and responded to the usual press calls and a broken windshield to top it off. Tonight it’s all about DJ Spooky at the ICA, which is just what I need to end a hectic week. Wednesday and warm South Beach can’t come quickly enough.

yahooupdatedprofile.jpgWhile I was talking with Mandy Ginsburg at Chemistry.com today I received an email from Yahoo! Personals about a new feature, Yahoo Activity Alerts. Are they tapping my phone? I am narcissistic and love knowing who has viewed me. Now Yahoo alerts me via email when someone I’ve viewed has updated their profile. Nice touch and not too invasive, unless you have a lot of people as favorites and they change their profile often.

Ran across TrustPlus, where you can view the reputation of others and build your your reputation on the web. Plenty of competition like Rapleaf, and all these reputation providers need huge partners to drive adoption and have enough users to be useful.
