Ticonderoga Ventures, Inc. announced the Mobile Dating Conference and European Online Personals Conference to be held on September 25-26, 2006 in Amsterdam at the NH Grand Krasnapolsky Hotel.
The Wireless and Mobile Dating Conference and Expo will focus on management, technology and marketing for the mobile and wireless dating industry. The European Internet Dating Conference will discuss management of European social networking and online personals businesses.
Ticonderoga is slowly shifting focus from pure dating to social networking. This had to happen, as the money and power is in the hands of the social networking sites at the moment.
This event should be well attended. The recent background checks events in San Francisco was mostly vendors. I don’t think these mid-year shows are working for iDate, best to stick with a US, EU and Asia show.
The release says that iDate 2006 holds the largest industry events for the online dating and social networking industry. This should be amended to say the only event, now that SITRAS is dead and gone. Did everyone get their money back from SITRAS?
