After watching firsthand iDate’s unprofessional, embarrassing and amateur efforts to steal domain names and attempt to copy/undermine the eAmore dating startup event in NYC, its nice to see the low key efforts behind Dating Drinks London.
I see Online Personals Watch will be there, which means iDate will not be copying DatingDrinks London with DatingDrinks Dubai/Paris/Moscow and not registering all related twitter handles and domain names.
Someone asked me if I was going to iDate Miami next year. Not likely. In fact I’ll probably never go to an iDate event again, tired of giving them money for such little value and if you really want hallway time, hire me and we can talk all you want.
Plus, I’d much rather fly to London and other places around the world and attend informal events like these from time to time.
