Now through next Monday, Jan. 17, Check In at your favorite bar or restaurant on Loopt with hashtag #aFLOCKalypse (and push it to Twitter), and get all your friends to do it too. Whatever place gets the most #aFLOCKalypse Check Ins will get a Loopt-sponsored aFLOCKalypse party with food, drinks (if they have ‘em) and some cool prizes.

How AboutWe, Meetcha PODS, Match, heck even eHarmony could do something fun like this and get a group of singles together in many cities at once. Creative, fun and smart, me like? Could get pretty viral and bring non-members to events to check out the crowd. Its ridiculously easy to set up, what’s to lose?
