I’ve been wondering about Zook’s matching system. First their explanation of how it works and a screenshot of a typical Zoosk profile. Finally, a screenshot of how Zoosk “expires” matches, which most likely freaks people out and gets them back to the site as soon as they see that in their inbox. Given the lack of data collected in profiles, how complex can it really be? Zoosk obviously is a data-driven company, but matching based on general profile questions isn’t very scientific. Perhaps there is some behavioral-based matching going on, or something else entirely.
