Today I turn 40. I woke up, ran 6 miles and spent the morning fielding phone calls from friends, family and clients, not to mention my Facebook wall is on fire. I spent the last night of my 30’s on a fantastic date and am having a small dinner with a few close friends tonight. In a few weeks I’m throwing a larger bash where I can invite a ton of people, too much going on right now to deal with that.
Over the years I’ve belonged to 50+ dating sites. The only one that wished me a happy birthday this year was OkCupid. How every large dating site in the world could miss an opportunity to (re)connect with a member on such an important day boggles my mind. Dating site marketing people, wake up!
