In the past, painted walls, carving initials in trees and graffiti as ways couples have professed their love for each other over the years. Newly launched Officially Dating enables couples to declare their love online.
Now there’s a new way, the “Question Filter,” which will surely be copied by all the major social networks. This innovation enables users to set up questions as barriers that keep the unwanted out and let those with correct responses connect. For example, a couple seeking another couple to carpool with for a local game can use the Question Filter to ask for information only another fan would know.
I don’t really understand this and was even more confused when Officially Dating described itself as a new social network.
The About page points to the advertising page, maybe when they fix the problem we’ll understand why couples will register on a website to tell people they are a couple.
