If competition from Yelp, Gowalla and other location-based checking services wasn’t enough, Facebook Is Working On A Foursquare-Killer. I am an avid Foursquare user (Superuser status) and so are several dating industry executives, judging by the number of Miami Convention Center and Royal Palms Hotel checkins I witnessed while in Miami Beach.
It was only a matter of time before Facebook got into the LBS game. Facebook is continuously morphing from a destination to to platform, just look at the apps ecosystem, Facebook Connect and email connectivity changes coming soon.
