What a great week of networking. I started the day with a breakfast meeting with a VC I’ve been corresponding with for several years and then last night I ran into Tigerbow, at Webinnovators in Boston along with @URwingman and a friend who used to do PR for eHarmony several years ago. Cougar cruise to shove off. Carnival Cruises, Singles Travel Company, and Society of Single Professionals bring you the first International Cougar Cruise on Dec. 4-7, departing from San Diego and headed to Ensenada, Mexico. I can only imagine what that cruise is going to be like.

6rounds has been elected as the first Google Wave Video Chat Extension. TheNextWeb.com says in a blog article, “In reality 6rounds has taken everything we’ve seen in the Instant Messaging space to the next level and delivers an unprecedented, emotionally engaging and fascinating experience which is so much fun, you have to try it yourself.” When I demo’d 6rounds a while back the first thing I thought of was Omnidate. Ribbit is bringing voice calls, phone conferencing, text messaging and voicemail transcription to Wave. It’s a long shot but I wonder if/how Wave could be used in the dating space. Fingers crossed that my Wave invite shows up today.
