Looks like PlentyOfFish is starting to realize that design matters. A new logo and cleaner home page are evident. They removed Instant Messaging last week. Good riddance I say. Lack of monitoring is the downfall of chat on most dating sites and the POF forums are where the conversation is happening.

Because the owners of PlentyOfFish, Kanciar&Frind, want to create a paid site inside a free site, but I seriously doubt it will work as expected.

It seems that id doesn’t matter where in the world you are, the same issues are relevant. People are seeking the ‘Mr or Ms Right’ via the internet in ever growing numbers. All the sites here promise so much – I for one would love to know the success statistics. It might make people think before reaching into their pockets? The blog above is one that explores ‘real’ peoples experiences of the online dating world – food for thought for those about to leap in perhaps.
Is it just me or do the two little fish insignias to the right of the logo on the new Home Page, make it look like a Christian site. Is POF becoming a Christian site or was there just too little research done on the artwork?
Yeah, the new design is more appealing to new website visitor. It’s now a lot better than the prior layout. If I put myself to the shoes of newbies, I could immediately understand what’s in it for me to take time and give a choice to this particular website, apart from its other competitors. Congratulations to PlentyofFish!
I question the validity of the list of benefits, and what’s with “Get unlimited points to send gifts!”? POF doesn’t offer gifts anymore.

I noticed that too. Plenty of Fish is starting to improve on the design part. I also noticed that they are accepting advertisement now unlike before that they are promoting Adsense.
I think a successful dating website like plenty of fish need not to beautify their website so much. Anyway it helps.
I really admire Plenty of Fish and I wish I could have even a fraction of the amount members and visitors in Markus Frind’s site.
