As a Satanist, I’m not a big fan of Christian dating sites. I am, however, a big fan of Sam Moorcroft, founder of Christian Cafe. His business has been humming along for a decade, is super-profitable and the guy tends to email from exotic locals, so he’s doing something right. Sam’s no-nonsense approach is appealing; I talk to 20-30 dating sites a week and the spin even gets to me sometimes. The online dating industry needs more people like Sam. Happy 10th Anniversary to Christian Cafe, here’s to many more.
P.S. I am not into the devil, just in a fun mood today. Or maybe I am, would that really matter to you? Don’t be so shallow. Darn it Perez Hilton, you’re rubbing off on me today.

Dave,
Thanks for the kind words:-) You and I both speak our minds, which is refreshing in this business.
It is hard to believe it was 10 years ago today that ChristianCafe.com went live. It had been in development for months before that, and everything that could go wrong, did (pre- and post-launch). But, we perservered, worked a lot of 100+ hour workweeks for a very (very) long time, made lots of mistakes, lost lots of money, learned lots, and grew from it all (and made – and continue to make – a whack of cash). Now, here we are, 10 years out, as strong as ever!
Take that, all you naysayers back in 1999 who told us this would never work, we were crazy to try it, and should quit while we were behind!
This anniversary is esp. poingnant, as I have another great event happening right now (as I told you in a private email and you featured earlier). I am sitting at the local hospital with my wife and 2 new babies, Paris & Artaxerxes. They were born yesterday morning. All 3 are fine, thank God.
This gets better still, as they are our *second* set of twins. Cyrus & Cheyenne are 3.5 now. Life couldn’t be better!
God has been (so) very good to us. All glory goes to Him!
Sam
Hey Sam,
While we can (and have) gotten into the fun debate of who the glory goes to, it’s your big day, and you deserve a ton of credit for what you’ve built – from your family to ChristianCafe. Consider me a big fan as well.
To your success,
Evan
Thanks, Evan!
It is always good to talk (and debate) with you. You are a clever man – a worthy adversary:)
