Eharmony CEO Greg Waldorf had an unfortunate Fox News interview this week.

The interview quickly devolved to the point where Waldorf actually said the words:

Well, we don’t specifically ask “Do you execute animals?” on eHarmony.

Classic quote.

The next quote that stuck out was:

If you think about it, there are people out there who say you can use online services to check someone’s background. I don’t believe that at all. Don’t rely on the government. Use common sense.

For a company which rolled out anonymous calling and is expected to launch background checks soon, this was certainly not the kind of quotes that I expected. Having been on cable news a number of times myself, I understand how easy it is to become flustered, but what was he thinking?
