I’m thinking about changing the title of the blog to Online Dating Post. This minor change change may help with how the blog shows up in search engines, and will allow me to connect with the growing number of non-industry single coming from search engines and stories in the media. Nothing more too it, really. Same in-depth coverage and insight as always. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of the idea.

Dave, if your URL was OnlineDatingInsider.com, your title would make sense. But, it ain’t, and it don’t!

Title/url parity means more to some than others (people and search engines), thanks for the feedback Sam.

Yeah, except if I remember your name (”Online Dating Insider”), I am likely going to try to go to that URL (which is owned by someone else, in this case).

My site name is ChristianCafe.com, but my URL isn’t ChristianDatingChristians.com or something else that isn’t the sane as ny name:)

Online Dating Post is very bland and tells me nothing about the site. It would be like changing “Instapundit” to “Instapost.” I want to hear what the pundit guy has to say. Instapost, not so much. Likewise, I want to click on Online Dating Insider because I want to know what inside edge he has to offer. It’s engaging. But Online Dating Post sounds like just another matchmaking service (without the catchy name).
