IADW on Fox News

by David Evans on April 1, 2005 in Dating Safety

Streaming video of Rich Gosse, founder of the IADW, and Herb Vest, founder of True.com on Fox News is here. Vest states that True pays for all background checks, each one costing $1.50, resulting in 5% of True.com members being rejected. Be sure to post your comments after you’ve watched the clip, I’m sure an interesting discussion will ensue.

This was a good example of two groups who should know what they are talking about but don’t. Mr. Gosse needs to research the Person ID verification steps undertaken by Verified Person and Trufina – he obviously doesn’t understand how this all works. If he were educated then he would better “represent” the industry.

As for Mr. Vest, he’s a moron for trying to legislate his “competitive advantage”. Herb, becoming like everyone else isn’t a good strategy.

    Herb Vest is being sued.

    Claims of outrageouse behavior.
Has anyone done a background check on Mr. Vest?

Vest makes claims of savings women from emotional and phsycial hazards and wanting to reduce the divorce rate.

Mr. Vest is on his third marriage and appears to be a classic womenizer, abusive dirty old man.

He claims he stops married people, but two of his marriages don’t show on his background check.

I would like to know, should a women be attacked, abuse, or raped from someone she meet on Mr. Vest web site is he prepared to take responsiblty?

Doesn’t look like he takes responseiblity for his own behavior, so why should people trust him?
