How Much Does a Photo Improve Your Chances?

Facebook Serves Billions of Images Daily

Researching the amount of images Facebook deals with every day, I found the following:

2-3 Terabytes of photos are being uploaded to Facebook every day
They have just over one petabyte of photo storage
They serve over 15 billion photo images per day
Photo traffic peaks at over 300,000 images served per second

iPhoto, meet Facebook

Facebok had a Hackathon back in January that resulted in a plug-in for iPhoto that enables photo uploads directly into Facebook profiles. Gone are the days of the 10-step photo upload. Now you can export photos directly from your iPhoto library to a Facebook album, complete with captions and tags.
