When I logged into Match this morning I saw an ad for Verizon. At first I groaned at yet another wasted ad impression, not to mention that FiOS is not available here. Looking closer, I saw that Verizon has embedded several references to Match in the ad. Thats pretty cool. Dating site ads should all be customized like this. Now that we know that OkCupid shares a member’s drug use with advertisers, I wonder what Match is sending to their ad networks to personalize display ads?
