Several companies have asked me where they can promote the sale of their dating sites. I tried a classifieds section here and no one ever used it. I know OnlinePersonalsWatch mentions sites for sale, but where else?
Two sites mentioned to me are www.flippa.com and www.bizbuysell.com. Where else should dating sites post they are for sale?
What was bought/sold at iDate? I heard there wasn’t much action. Seems to me most transactions are private and those in the know have already done due diligence on the sites which are for sale which are worth looking into.

A problem I see with a lot of admins selling their sites is they are usually surprised at how little their sites sell for and many times decide to just hang onto it. Yes sitepoint is a good place to sell a site.
