Milabra Presenting on Speedy Image Classification

Milabra will be presenting at Search Engine Meeting in Boston on April 28th.

Naveen Agnihotri (Milabra, New York): Classifying an image with accuracy and speed: the value of parts-based representations. There is an explosion of untagged image data on the Internet, and a paucity of means to analyze the images and search them visually. This presentation explores using a parts-based approach to classify image features. While being highly accurate, this strategy also dramatically reduces the fingerprint of the image, which cuts down storage costs while facilitating searches based on content.

Milabra,(advertiser and client), is doing amazing things in the image management space. They have a few pilot programs with dating sites which I’ll be talking about more in the near future.
