Companies lock down when they are scared of being found out for some reason. I don't blame them.

Singlesnet is most unusual. They are on PR lockdown. Noone is allowed to talk to the press or bloggers.

You are being paranoid. I met the marketing director at the Affiliate Summit in Boston last summer. We had a few drinks and some laughs, just like I do with most dating site executives. I don't think anyone has a problem with that, do you?

They are a pure advertising play, get to the top, make the money and hold on for as long as possible. That's pretty much the goal of the entire industry and SinglesNet is no different.

There are definitely companies that need exposing. I salute you for doing so. I will be following suit with some expose's soon also. However, I'd advise not mentioning that you've been talking to people at Singlesnet. Its a very short list of people that you or I have access to. Its not that tough to figure out who you've been talking. So, protect those sources. They are precious and few and far between.

I was talking about people at SinglesNet, not the dating industry.

You promote the industry, I'm here to protect people and give them the best online dating experience possible through the work I do with dating sites. Thats why I will publish unflattering information in very specific cases. There are too many get-rich-quick unethical people in the online dating sector, agree?

You know who has the best info? Venture capitalists. I get all sorts of information from people which I will never post, that's not how I operate. If they leave a comment, that's fine.
