Zoosk Is the King of Social Network Dating Applications

by David Evans on January 19, 2009 in Social Networking

allfacebook.jpgAccording to founders, Zoosk is now officially the largest “dating app” on Facebook and social networks in general. They recently overtook the HotOrNot lookalike contest crown from Are You Interested, which actually has added some features recently. I’m sure Cliff at Are You Interested will have something to say about the regime change. I’d like to know if Zoosk made over $800,000 in advertising like Are You Interested did last quarter. Speaking of change, tomorrow is a big day! What will Obama say about the proposed dating industry bail-out?

they currently do not accept advertisers from the dating space; once they do, i expect their revenue to get a nice boost.
