It’s too bad iDate didn’t do the pre-event chat like last year. I wanted to give people a chance to network before the event so I decided to host a chat here on Friday, January 16.
Many thanks to Userplane for agreeing to let me use their Web Messenger platform host the conversation. I just got done the configuration, and while not as fancy as last year, we’ll have a place to connect on Friday. I wanted to implement an archive of the chat transcript, but it’s too difficult for me to implement on short notice. Maybe next time.
The address will be http://onlinedatingpost.com/chat. I’ll turn it on Friday morning 9am EST and leave it on all day. I’ll try to jump in as often as possible, probably 9-10 am and then again between 2-3pm and whenever else I can tear myself away from client work.
