I am fully supportive of OKCupid. It is NOT just a dating site since obviously the creators have taken the time and effort to encourage social networking through the new activity tabs, forums, journals, etc.

It's become a welcome time-waster when I'm tired of browsing profiles. Also, those who complain must remember that it's a free site, and a darn good one. I was attracted to OKC first because of the aesthetics. Sorry PlentyofFish, but I hate browsing you!

I've also gotten decent dating prospects from OKC. Those who are on there for something other than dating make for an environment that has less pressure.

I'm glad that the creators are constantly improving the site (but not crazy about their new mail system). I only wish they'd hire me to work for them! Hello? How about an e-newsletter or dating advice section? :D

I couldn't disagree more. OKCupid has implemented a number of great features and constantly improves the site.

OKCupid is a waste of time. It is full of idiots who fail to realise that it is supposed be a dating site (hence the name) and are only interested in tests or friends.

The owners are just as bad and are more interested in redesigns than adding features (especially features that work).
