Bone Fish, AKA Dating Central.

This firm has recently stopped non members reading messages. People have PAID membership fees to send those messages, it's reasonable to expect them to be readable. They haven't told any paid members about the new terms and conditions - "your mail is unreadable" - so are failing to provide the contracted service to PAID members (but hide in Gibraltar so can't easily be pursued legally). Now only paid members can read messages BUT there is no way to determine if someone is a paid member and thus worth sending a message to. Utterly pointless sending messages to someone that can only read the first 4 or 5 words. What can you say in 4-5 words to attract someone into paying for membership?

Non members used to be able to read the message and then click though to see the user profile of the sender. Now they can't see who sent the message. Who's going to be joining a dating site that doesn't let them see who sent them a message they can't read?

All the messages seem to be fake anyway, as it's "hacker safe" and tested daily no doubt sent by affiliates abusing free memberships in a desperate attempt to drum up trade. Before mail reading was switched off I had one purporting to be from a woman. Her profile said she was 40, d-o-b 1964, so she's now 44. You don't leave a dating profile unchanged for 4 years so clearly hasn't been on the site for 4 years. Had others from girls telling me they can make my fantasies come true yet they clearly say "no old guys" on their profile, I'm 50 so what are they doing mailing me?

They may claim to have 4000000 profiles on file but ACTIVE PAID ones are in the few 100's.
