Are You Interested Bidding Spotlight

by David Evans on November 17, 2008   in Features

areyouinterestedsearchlight.jpgAre you interested has launched a new feature on it’s Facebook application. Now you can bid to be placed on a special spotlight page. Use points to place a 6 hour bid. The higher you bid, the higher up you’ll appear. Top row gets 41 clicks on average. You have to take survey’s to earn points.

This leaderboard-style promotion reminds me of a large gallery view of profiles. Except instead of selecting gallery view in search results, you have to sign up for a “free” credit report and deal with mountains of smap. You can also purchase points outright.
