Google Launches Display Ad Builder

Google has launched a system which makes it easier to create display ads. This is good news for dating sites who have relied on Google text ads.

Today we released the AdWords display ad builder, which lets you create professional-looking display ads in AdWords without needing to hire a designer or start from scratch. If you’ve wanted to expand beyond your text ad campaigns, or if you’ve been looking for an easier way to build display ads, this tool can help.

I can’t log in Adwords today to check it out, but I did watch the video. My account is locked because someone hijacked my account and my invoice this month was over $2,000, when in reality I don’t have any active campaigns running. Do yourself a favor and go change your Google passwords. It only take a moment and might help you avoid a large bill on your credit card.

Leave a comment with your experience using the new ad builder, curious what people think of it.

Hey David,

I’m curious, did Google give you any problems inregards to your hijacked account? Did they reverse the charges?

I haven’t had the problem totally sorted out yet, although they have agreed there was fraud involved.
