I have experienced the problems on facebook when using certain apps. I usually just try again or try selecting the app from a different area of my profile.

Facebook has also had times of the day where you go to log in and it goes "page not displayed" in IE explorer and firefox. I asked some of my friends and they experienced this too. It was quite annoying.
