Who’s Keeping Tabs on New Jersey?

by David Evans on June 2, 2008   in Legal

Now that that online dating legislation has passed in New Jersey it’s time to find out who is checking on compliance with the NJ safe dating rules. Have sites been shut down, reprimanded or letters sent out?

How do they compile a list of online dating sites in a specific state? D&B number, local business filings (LLC and incorporation) come to mind, how else would you identify online dating companies?

Paid sites have to have a payment processor, that’s another way to identify company, but what about free sites?

Anyone who runs a dating site out of New Jersey, let us know what your experience has been so far.
