Match Testimonials, Popular?

by David Evans on June 20, 2008   in Features

My Match testimonial us up. I understand now why I see so few testimonials on Match. Getting friends to write something is like pulling teeth, similar to getting a testimonial on LinkedIn. I’ll let you know if I notice a difference.

Match needs to fix the email you receive when the person writes your testimonial. Mine was blank, so I emailed my friend and made fun of her for forgetting to write something. When I logged into Match I didn’t see anything either. Then when I clicked on the link in the testimonial section I finally found it. I wonder how many testimonials never get posted because of this.

Oh yeah, its always pain in the back to get testimonials from fellow friends on LinkedIn. It looks to me that it’s getting ‘not cool’ to give testimonials in social networks, no matter whether it is dating or business network.

I hope I’m wrong, though.
