zooksfbstatus.jpgEarlier today I spoke with Alex Mehr, who created Zoosk, a platform agnostic dating application that leverages the social graph.

I’ll post the interview later, need to go over my notes and make sure I don’t release any company secrets and clean up the drool from my jaw hitting the floor continuously throughout the conversation. Watch out free dating sites, that sound you hear is your doors being blown off.

Thanks to Shobeir @ Amidzad for the introduction. Amidzad funded, among many other amazing companies, Affinity Circles, a hosted social network that looks to have a solid offering for different types of organizations.

Eagle-eyed readers may notice I have probably omitted a few other popular dating apps in the screeenshot above. I’m aware of that, need to tighten up the list.

Amidzad Ventures has an impressive portfolio and a healthy track record of investing in winners.

It’s great to see fellow Iranians doing well for themselves, especially in the tech sector.

Looking forward to reading your interview Dave!

    Life is good.
