I just heard from an intrepid reporter asking about Avid Life Media. Who is Avid Life Media? They own the Ashley Madison dating site, and now they own HotorNot. The reporter was wondering about why Avid would acquire HotorNot. Yesterday I wrote HotOrNot Sold To Canadian Investors. I’ll post more after the article comes out tomorrow.

HotorNot is a great brand. Why not extend the HotorNot concept to movies, songs, commercials, etc.
No way! Avid media owns Ashley Madison? I did a search for avid media the other day, their site gave me no information except that they are located in Toronto.
It’s kind of wierd that the company that owns Ashley madison would buy hot or not. I mean the two don’t exactly go hand in hand. Maybe that’s the point.
