Since I cancelled eHarmony, I decided to sign up for Yahoo! Personals again. Lots of people had visited my free profile and while I was going through my inbox I noticed the following ads at the bottom of people’s emails.
You would think that Yahoo, with it’s new Panama advertising platform, would be able to target ads based on my profile. As far as I know, I’m not dysfunctional (well not that way) and have lost 20 lbs in the past year or so. Why am I seeing these ads?
Snow is falling, first big New England storm of the season. Fingers crossed that Vermont is getting dumped on!

Are you sure that first ad isn’t targeting you Dave, it’s OK and nothing to be embarrassed about. ;-)
