Ugly Facebook Dating Project

by David Evans on October 3, 2007 in Uncategorized

Date Demon is a new website that purports to teach average Joe’s how to succeed in meeting women. The dude behind Date Demon has started The Facebook Project. where he will create a fake facebook account with a fake name and with an average Joe photo. The idea is to show guys how to meet women on social networks.

Not only will I show you the exact information I put on the profile, but I will show you how I make friends from scratch and show transcripts of messaging conversations. I will be setting up dates with women and you will be there from the get go and can go on the journey with me.

So far, my only problem is sharing private communication. Then it gets worse, the guy is going lure women into meeting him, and then blow them off.

I am going to get them to the point where they would meet in person maybe even set up a date and then cancel it.

Talk about cruel. The experiment could gone in a much more positive direction and remained helpful at the same time. Date Demon, you are a ruthless coward. I hope someone at Facebook catches you in the act.

If you have suggestions for how I should change the project I am more than willing to listen. Yes I will admit setting up a date with a girl and canceling is not very nice. I think you will see though, that it will won’t actually be quite so cold -hearted. The easiest way to explain to guys though how to get from nothing to dates is to actually show them going from nothing to dates. If all I did was flirt a little with a girl or two on facebook it wouldn’t be nearly as beneficial as actually going through the process myself.

That is an intersting method you are exploring. I’m not sure how ethical or legal it might be however. Perhaps they’d be better served to read a book with online dating tops like Myles Reed ‘s book “Fishing for love on the Net”?
