Aquent acquired Pricejamieson earlier this year. Pricejamieson has published a DatingDirect recruiting video interview. I have not seen this type of video before. Makes me wish for the day when we can watch video recordings of singles.

It’s actually quite a nice idea – a bit of a poor, amateur implementation though. Not sure it has the shine of Meetic’s brand.
I think the fact that a company is going to these kind of lengths to acquire good talent is an illustration of how important online marketing is for online dating companies.
We’re spending in excess of £200k/month for Google PPC marketing alone – good marketeers can pay for themselves tenfold. We’d take as many as we could get – but good online marketeers are thin on the ground at the moment.
