This has to be the worse dating site I have ever joined. No email contact...no chance of a refund...you can't even search for a match..you have to wait for them to select someone for you. I had 94 matches...closed all but 20. They should be sued and I should have my head examined for being stupid enough to join. I seriously hope they go out of business. After several emails were ignored I finally got a phone number and person answered who insisted that my account was closed and therefore I was not being charged except that I had the credit card bills to prove they were. After I insisted on speaking to a supervisor I was hung up on. I eventually cancelled my credit card so they can no longer charge it. STAY AWAY FROM eHARMONY! They only want your money I stopped using eharmony over a year ago and it has taken me months and months to get them to stop charging my credit card. Then, thankfully, a police detective contacted me thru MySpace to let me know the guy I thought was so wonderful had a very colorful criminal background that included Rape, Stalking, Kidnapping, & Embezzlement. Thank God for the detective who had been watching the activity on the criminal's MySpace page! I don't trust online dating & think it's a great way to meet a sociopath! Sometimes a “hospitalâ€? or “doctorâ€? telephones to say that the friend has suffered an “accidentâ€? and needs immediate financial assistance to cover medical bills. There are other variations of this scam, but all of them want to get money. Americans have reported losing thousands of dollars through such scams. The anonymity of the Internet means that the victim cannot be sure of the real name, age, marital status, nationality, or even gender of the correspondent. In most cases reported to the Embassy, the correspondent turned out to be a fictitious person created to lure Americans into sending money.
