I think standardized questions are really how they manage to match people – like if two people have the same answers, they can automatically be matched by the system, so I think same questions are kind of necessary. Anyhow, thanks for the heads up. This is really a helpful article.

I had the same problem with reminders to upload photos, finish my profile, etc after I’d already done it but they’ve stopped. They’ve had a lot of system problems over the last week or so (the site has been down hard, as in non-pingable, for a few hours now). I Googled them and got a Sun press release about how eHarmony is switching to Sun servers as of last fall, maybe it’s time to pull that press release…
