Dmitry Rudakov wrote from Moscow to tell me about his social-dating software script AbleDating. All he said was that they pay attention to some “tasty� things like 3d chat, games etc. Has anyone used this? Leave a comment is you have any experience with this $597 script.

After starting my new Able Detaining Website this past year in May of 2007. This my true experience with them.
You definitely need a skilled programmer, a dedicated server, and you really should look to integrate a different chat service with your website.
I had some trouble getting good technical support and no it was not the best I have had before with other vendors but not the worst ether…
I purchased the custom design and had to all most threaten with a charge back them to get it done.
I installed the script on a dedicated server with out much trouble.
I replaced all the services that Able Dating hosted like the flash chat and stuff so I was not dependent on them.
I cleaned up all the PHP errors. And made it a real fun site to use. Even though most of my script is encrypted I was still able to make it work.
Updates are Hell; I have not installed a single update since I purchased the script because of the integration problems.
When my site becomes very popular and making good money, then I will invest into a custom website. But for now, the cost to get started with this script was reasonable.
Now after 8 months and several thousand dollars, we have a great Dating Website and it is still less then having one custom built.
So if you follow my steps and do what we did, you can have a great social dating website you can make a lot of money from over time with very little investment. I will not go as far as some have on this thread and say they are the best thing that every came along like sliced bred, but I will tell you they you can make a good social dating web site from this software if you have the resources and time to make it what you want..

I can not say too much about Able-Space and Able-Dating today since I bought my script over a year ago and have not put a single update on the site since. That is because they do not have a good update patch release program in place. You literally have to backup all your data, images, and anything else the members has uploaded on your site, backup all your SQL data, Delete your SQL database and install a fresh new copy of the script.
Then try to copy back the saved member files and import your saved SQL data again. Cross your figures hoping that you did not forget something or that the data you imported did not needed to be converted in any way.
Oh any most likely your custom hacks or templates you made to make your site look Cool! Will not work and you need to figure that out on your own.

Check it out and see. We integrated AOL’s Userplane Audio, Video Web chat and IM and it works great. But I will not put any of the upgrades on my site until there is something worth going through all the hassles for it.
We also use phpfox http://www.CyberRebels.com which has worked very, very will.
And if I were to do it all over again knowing what is involved now. I would most likely just install the new Dolphin script and join http://www.ModMySite.com support forum for help.
