pofusers, set up by lee rees aka leeroy rees, he’s been posting elsewhere pretending to be a pof mod asking people to send him complaints via pofusers. He’s also copied posts from his other site to that one and not told any of the forum users.

Hi David, I’m a big fan of your dating products!

I wouldn’t be concerned about pofusers.com, from what i can tell the reason the site exists is because pof users are not allowed to publicaly address complaints in their own forums.

i believe the goal of pofusers is to make the site owner aware of the moderator goings on that they obviously feel he is oblivious too. Obviously being a one man band i suspect Markus doesnt get involved in moderating duties.

Like i said your products are an excellent resource for us men so I hope that you will continune to sell and produce your content!

Hi David, yes there are a few of these out there. Not sure why people take time out of their day to complain about specific users on a free dating site but everyone has their views of others’ behavior.

I vote with my feet, either I stick around because I like a site or I move on.

POF exhibits a number of social network-type behaviors in the forums, it’s almost like a whole other site. I know people who only talk in the forums and don’t even date there.

I’ve increasingly noticed POF going downhill. Today I stumbled across what appears to be a user revolt http://www.pofusers.com It appears users are so unhappy with the POF moderators that they have setup their own complaints site to catalog all the infractions that go on.

I’m a bit concerned about this as I sell my double your dating product via POF.

POF leaves alot to be desired. They will not remove someone who has had complaints against them from more than one person..Instead they will bann the reporter of the complaint.
It is up to women to protect themselves from con men and predators. If you feel you are having to make all of the concessions in a “relationship” online or other, then trust your gut instincts and run the other way. I have tried to help other women on POF. We have exchanged information in the only ways that we can, to help provide information to protect each other. POF is on the side of the male. So don’t expect your complaints against a male to be heeded.
