Paid them for over one month ago, but like Brian say it´s like I don´t exist. Tried several email but no answer. So if anyone are thinking about use them beware.

Also, several of there features don’t work….I have spent over 72 hours trying to set this thing up and I am no stranger to building my website.
Adding their profiles is a crock! My site is a networking site, no nudity allowed. I specified “normal profiles” I have received nudity on some pics on profiles on my site. After click on some of the profiles and reading the profiles. Profiles have questions geared towards body part sizes, sexual positions, etc.
I have just wasted over $98 on 3 months subscription & a couple of add ons.
I wish I would have came across this post before I spent money I can’t afford to loose.

I’m so glad I found this post. Wanting to start a new dating site, and found datingsitebuilder. I asked them for referrals (a few dating sites that are up and running using their script) and the rep tol dme they don’t give out client info. I mean really… If their script is as good as they claim why won’t they give out a few url’s to view?

I am from Datingsitebuilder.com. The reason we don’t provide referrals is because in the past, our clients were bothered by so many inquiries. Hope this answers Charles’s question.
As for profiles, it’s optional. There are thousands of new profiles added daily, it’s very hard to screen them immediately. I understand these complaints but we are trying hard to do better filtering work. If customers still not happy with the result, they can cancel profiles feature instead of canceling the account all together.

I have been trying since Nov 22. 2010 to get someone to send me the API soi i can take advantage or the profiles I have rented yet no one from your organization has contacted me or sent me the necessary API. Beware of using Datingsitebuilder.com. Goron, Brandon, David, and anyone else in their organization are not credible at all. I signed up with them in October 2011, and in late December 2011 asked for my account to be cancelled and asked for a refund, as they did nothing that they said they would do. I started with a basic site, then, in order to add more features, expanded to their top level site, then ordered from them 1000 “custom” profiles. After I placed the order, I noticed that the few profiles that they were uploading onto my site were not customized at all to my specifications. I had to send repeated emails to their “support” office telling them that the profiles were wrong, and asked when they would be uploaded (because they told me it would take “up to 2 weeks”). After waiting over 4 weeks, I had only 191 profiles uploaded of the 1000 that I ordered. I then asked to cancel my account and asked for a refund. I received no refund at all, and also they still have not signed over to me the rights to my domain name that they registered for me.
I paid them (and lost) $450, plus I lost my domain name which they will not give back. DO NOT USE Datingsitebuilder under any circumstances! They are not reputable and will steal your money.

Beware of datingsitebuilder.com — even their ‘sales support’ is completely uninterested and rude so I can’t imagine how poor the support would be if you made the mistake of buying into this product. Meanwhile any software company that refuses to show any kind of demo of what you’re paying for clearly has something to hide!
This is not true. From my experience, providing demo “only hurts” the business because people are messing up your demo and it gives bad impression for other demo users.

I have a site up with datesitebuilder.com. My biggest problem is, is that the profiles I got started with are heavily women from African countries trying to get men to give them banking information claiming to “transfer funds” to share with them. I know this because as a webmaster I also have a regular profile set up on my own site to view things on the “member side” and have responded to the message I get daily from these “women” claiming to be looking for love. I also have heard of that type scam because I saw it on dateline how they scam Americans out of money by using a woman with some sob story. I don’t want this pissing my real members off nor making ME look like a scammer. I sent a ticket to their support and got no response. I’m about to find a new home for my site in like 2 seconds. So since it seem like the people at datesitebuilder only respond to customers when they post complaints on forums, I will post one too then and ask…What are you gonna do to fix this shit! I wish i have read this before i did buy the simple crappy script that they sell… that you can find better crap then that given for free online… also when you buy the php script it doesn’t come with a self install, it is only a basic script that for you to have articles or either edit the contact page or anything like it… you will need to code. Duh! In now a days… there’s way better then that little crap they sent me for 100 dls.. plus they are advertising something for 99 dls and charge you 100 dls. SCAM. Always remember that old but true saying… “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!”
If you’re starting a dating or social networking website, do NOT start off on the wrong foot by fooling around with fake profiles, “starter” profiles, or any BS of this nature. Grow your traffic slowly (unless you’ve got tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to market your site), differentiate yourself from the other sites (today you’ve got to be a niche since the general dating sites have all the cake), and start small (perhaps in the city you live in, then move into new cities when you have some level of critical mass). Build your site based on honesty, integrity and class. Be 100% genuine. And watch the people come. Even with their financial success, some of the big players are shameful for their errant ways of using fake profiles, winks, etc. Avoid the potential future lawsuits. Be absolutely sincere with your offering, and people will pay to be part of your website.
