I really do not understand this move. Yahoo had a far better UK site than match, it was a look easier to use and had more profiles.

Match is a pain in the ass to use these days, you need to be a subscriber even to view messages.

Oh well its good for the rest of us as yahoo personals was a strong competitor.

I wonder if we can expect major changes to the Yahoo Personals US and Yahoo Personals Premier properties. Yahoo Personals Premier hasn’t really been able to reach its full potential as part of Yahoo Personals, a spinoff like Chemistry.com might be a good idea there. Yahoo might then turn Yahoo Personals free and combine it with some of their other properties to form a social network like what was outlined in that Forbes article.

I took the Ulteem 98 questions Spanish version compatibility test.
Quite long and very complete written report: values, vision and personality!!! but the compatibility/affinity between prospective mates is only a 2 integer figure like 75%.
(My matchlist: 56 women with affinity the highest=77% the lowest=65%, no one seemed to be really as compatible as a paying member will require, what I mean: I could easily reach that list of “prospective compatible women” searching by my own!!!)
