My new German dating blogger friend Dirk sent me this PDF of Meetic’s 4Q 05 financials. Operating profile up 118% to $9.2 million Euros, net profile up 110% to $8.2 million. This growth and the $83 IPO have put Meetic in a good place to continue growth.

Net profit (5.7 millions of euros) as % of total revenue (43.0 millions of euros) is 13.2%
It could be higher, more than 20%!!!
Also they claim a 17 million profiles database.
Match.com has over 20 million profiles database with a revenue of over USD200 millions, nearly 4 times Meetic.

I want to know active profiles, in which case the numbers are lowers. You’re comparing apples to oranges because Meetic is mainly in Europe and Match is worldwide.

It says meetic has 2.6 million active profiles in the last 30 days. They also have a signup rate of 18,000 people per day is the number given in the last quarter results.
